I’m so sorry I haven’t had a newsletter for a little bit – things have been really packed getting ready for Errington’s Night at the Palace show and the beginning of the past week or two really got away from me quickly!
Expect a new warm-up in the past week or so (I do a new warm-up mix every 4-6 weeks). I have a REALLY fun final song for the next warm-up. It’s a little different style than I usually do for this class, but it’s so fun I can’t pass it up. Ooooh, foreshadowing!
Anyway… without further ado, this week’s newsletter.
No class Family Day, Feb 17
Remember that next Monday Feb 17 is a holiday, so there is no class (RDN, Qualicum Beach).
If you want, come say hi at the Coombs Family Day celebration – it’s free and there will be lots of fun stuff to check out (I’ll have a table in the hall). Feb 17th, 1-4pm at the Coombs Fairgrounds (1014 Ford Road). Info from ACRA. Come hang out! Maybe we can dance and show people what we do!?

We will have an informal “just for fun” coffee/tea/water on Friday Feb 14th after class – let’s get to know each other better! Wear some red/pink/whatever to class for Valentines day!

OK so I have a couple fun ones lined up for this week!
This one is a high energy. You get 5 bonus points if you guess why we are dancing to this one this week 🙂
And a new fun “party” song too:
Recipe – yay more food!
Basil isn’t too easy to get in our area in quantity… especially at this time of year! I only make basil pesto when I have a ton of basil going in my garden. So in the winter months we make it with kale, spinach or other greens instead. Here’s a simple recipe to make a winter pesto! It’s really dense, but adds flavor to pastas, sandwiches, and more. Find the recipe here.
Hope to see you soon!
