It’s smokey. It’s gross. Let’s exercise inside, so much safer, and get our sweat on and anxieties out.

We are honoring the great Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin this week, who we lost late last week. We’re dancing to Think, the Blues Brothers version. It’s a classic!
LAST week we added Suit and Tie x Let’s Groove mashup. I’ll be adjusting the choreo for this song a little bit this week. We’ll try it again!
Recent new songs
Earlier this month we started dancing to 16 Shots, a dancehall number where we work our legs.
We also did BANGARANG for the first time, an intense high-energy cardio interval song.
Find all the songs and MAKE A REQUEST using the Cardio Dance CLub song catalog here!
It’s corn season! We’ve been getting our corn down the road from Silver Meadows here in Errington. Their Peaches and Cream corn is to die for. The whole carbs in corn are healthy, particularly wonderful for your body for the energy to exercise.
One of my favorite recipes is this Spicy sweet corn salad with avocado and parsley recipe, which is low fat, vegan, and oil-free.
This recipe is so incredibly easy too – just cook the corn, remove from the cob, and toss in a few additional ingredients.
On the Farm
We had a bit of a surprise this morning! When you hear rustling and noise from a large sounding animal out here in the forest, the first instinct is to get startled and maybe prepare to die. Luckily in this case, we didn’t need to worry.
Monday morning visitors from next door, munching on some apples 🍎. We have no clue how (where) they got over or through the fence. Very friendly though (walked right up to me for a pet). I opened the side gate, which looks like it hadn’t been open for years, and they walked right back home. Whew! #sheep #farmlife #erringtonbc
