Can you believe it’s the last class for August, and into September we go? Where has the summer gone?? I’m really shocked myself… the paddleboard has only been out once! Yikes. But at least we’ll keep dancing no matter what time of year it is. Or what the weather is. Or what the smoke is doing.
The next Cardio Dance Club class is Wednesday August 29th at 7pm, Nanaimo at Casa Loca Fitness (6330 Dover Rd, Nanaimo, BC). There is drop-in, class passes, and membership available. A great place for group fitness in Nanaimo.
Registration is open for the 8 class series in Coombs at Bradley Centre – Monday nights at 5:30pm starting October 15th. More information and HOW TO REGISTER is here.
FREE CLASS! Join me September 24th for a FREE class for Active Aging week at Bradley Centre at 5:30pm. Although it is for Active Aging week in Oceanside, for discovering new fitness class options in the area, no one turned away! This will be a lower impact class, but please feel free to modify it to higher impact if you so wish! Again, this is all-levels and abilities and ages. Event page on Facebook is here. New Song and recent playlist additions
We recently added a Janet throwback song into the playlist, how about a new Janet song that came out last week? It has an amazing feel, and great beat and lyrics to dance to. Check it out! It really grows on you too (this song has really been stuck in my head!) Working out some choreo for it, let’s dance on Wednesday!
Last week we added an Aretha Franklin song – this week we’ll again be dancing to Think, the Blues Brothers version. It’s a classic!
Earlier this month we started dancing to this Suit and Tie x Let’s Groove mashup.

Last week I shared one of our favorite corn salad recipe (since we’ve been getting a bunch of corn down the road from Silver Meadows here in Errington). Here’s one more recipe that’s very similar and incredibly easy to prepare – it has a few more ingredients and spices, but it’s still quick to make.
