I can’t believe it’s November. NOVEMBER! Where has this year gone! And getting dark so much earlier now that the clocks have changed too. But all the more reason to come to a warm classroom with fun music and smiling faces… right? I hope!
There is some new music this week. I’ve finished mixing the warmup and have some choreo for us to try out. It might adjust a little over the next few classes until it feels right. Let me know what you think of it after you try it in class! I am also (FINALLY!) adding a new stretch song in. It’s a favourite, and I hope you like it too.
Give us your feedback for classes starting January 2020
New poll for this week, in addition to last week’s poll if you haven’t voted yet. RDN and ACRA are both seeking some feedback for classes starting in 2020.
New poll asking the following: are you able to attend Monday morning at 9am in Qualicum Beach, and if so would you prefer the regular all levels class or the low-intensity class (Gentle Groove).
Due to scheduling rented facilities to run classes, starting in January 2020 we will move Monday morning classes at Errington Hall to Friday mornings. We would like to know what time you would most like to attend a class! Please let us know when you would like to attend classes (you can select multiple times, or your preferred time).
(Your vote and any comments are confidential).
PLEASE NOTE – there are NO CHANGES to classes this year! This is for new classes starting next year 🙂

Songs this week
New warmup! There are three songs in this warmup. The warmup is the same music in both Gentle Groove and all-levels Cardio Dance Club, but the choreo is slightly different. Here are the songs featured in the new warmup:
Art Beatz, Fatman Scoop, Disco Fries – Cobra Dance (Disco Fries Edit)
Kygo & Whitney Houston – Higher Love. This is a fun video… and I am so glad that workout wear does not still look like this!!
Flo Rida – Good Feeling. A throwback favorite.
And the new stretch song I’ve been promising for too long now! This is a song I *loved* from the early 2000s, from one of my all-time favorite albums by Zero 7. This album got me through the early months of (permanent) tinnitus from an ear infection (music to fall asleep), and that is forever be my association with every song on this album since. But I promise we won’t fall asleep… instead some deep stretching to finish off our class. Aaaand, that ends today’s overshare.
Hope to see you in class this week! Ping me with any questions or comments! Hope to see you soon.
